Dynamix Physical Therapy has just opened its 13th clinic in West Tennessee. The location is in Huntingdon, Tenn., under the leadership of Misty King, PT, who has been serving as a physical therapist in this community for over 20 years.
Dynamix was just named an Inc. 5000 Company, meaning it is one of the fastest growing companies in the United States. Continuing to pursue growth and expansion is exactly what the leadership team has set out to do, and the opening of the Huntingdon location was the next step in the process.
“When we were looking for a leader to open our next Dynamix clinic, we knew it had to be someone who was invested in his or her community, who had the drive and passion for helping people and who wanted to grow, both personally and professionally,” said Russ Huffstetler, co-founder and CEO of Dynamix. “When we met Misty and heard about her love for the community of Huntingdon and her passion as a therapist, we knew she embodied the core values of Dynamix. We are proud to open our 13th clinic under her leadership.”
King grew up in Jackson, Miss., before her family moved to Collierville, Tenn., at the beginning of her high school career. She attended the University of Tennessee at Martin for her bachelor’s in health and human performance. King then attended East Tennessee State University and received her degree in physical therapy.
When asked why she chose to be a physical therapist, King said she wanted to be in a field where she could go home at the end of each day knowing she helped someone get closer to having a pain-free life. She has done just that and is excited to continue to treat in her community of Huntingdon.
“What excites me the most about joining Dynamix is getting back to the small town feel of a company and being part of a family-oriented work environment,” said King. “I am also looking forward to the opportunity to grow in my career as a therapist and leader in the organization.”
King is married to Judge Michael King, the newly-elected Carroll County General Sessions and Juvenile Court Judge, and they have two children, Wesley and Hannah.
