The Blank Calendar
Each week, I look forward to visiting with patients in my clinic to see what is going on in their lives and discussing things that they are passionate about in the community. Anthony walks into my clinic often, usually to report some sort of daily news such as the lunch specials at the local restaurants or what the particular “national day” is today.
Do you remember being asked as a child “what do you want to be when you grow up?” If you were like me, that answer has changed many times. For me, it was to be a professional golfer-the next Tiger Woods. As I matured, my putting stroke didn’t, so I figured it was a good idea to come up with a plan B. I quickly realized I wanted to do something in healthcare, and after a few sports injuries, physical therapy seemed like a good fit for me.
“Go Beyond” is a part of Dynamix core values. We want this to be a defining characteristic of who we are as a company. In our interactions with clients, members, and co-workers, our aim is to deliver more than expected. I came across a story about a farmer and his two sons that is a great example of “Go Beyond.”

WHEN I DISCOVERED YOGA
January 1, 2015. I needed a change. I’m not usually one for New Years resolutions, but I recognize the need to continually self-assess and adjust accordingly. It just happened to be a convenient day for…
BACK IN THE SWING OF THINGS
Golf is a great game. It has been apart of my life ever since I can remember, literally. There is footage of little baby Adam running around in diapers knocking around a whiffle ball with a grey plastic golf club my father bought me.
In life we ask ourselves, “Do we play things safe or do we take a chance?” For example, does a football team play it safe and kick a field goal, or does it take a chance and go for it on 4th down to win the game?

As an employee of Dynamix Physical Therapy for the past three years, I am thankful for the opportunity to serve my patients in an environment where individuals are encouraged to CULTIVATE GROWTH.
Have you ever laid down at night or turned your head quickly and suddenly become dizzy? Was your first instinct to run and buy meclizine? Did this help temporarily only to have your dizziness return?
POSTURE TELLS THE STORY OF YOUR LIFE
If you’ve been my patient for any period of time you have probably heard me say one of three things: Breathe, Relax, Posture!
