Dyer County High School in Newbern, Tennessee, held its annual “Most Valuable Choctaw” ceremony on Oct. 28, 2021. Our very own Vice President of Sports Performance, Ross Pope, was the keynote speaker.

Ross attended Dyer County High School and was the recipient of this prestigious award in 2004. Five students were nominated by their peers, and then the staff voted on who would be named the recipient. It was a tough decision on who would be chosen since each student nominated had a list of incredible accomplishments in their high school careers.

Ross shared in his speech about the difference in being successful and being significant. He said, “It doesn’t matter how big your house is or what kind of car you drive, but it does matter how people view you as a person. The only way to live a fulfilled life is to strive to make a difference and strive to be significant.”

Dynamix Physical Therapy is blessed to have Ross and his team of athletic trainers out on the fields and in the gyms to take care of all athletes throughout the West Tennessee region.
